I've installed Tomato Firmware v1.28.0503 MIPSR2Toastman-RT-N K26 USB VPN on my Netgear WNR3500Lv2. I used to have the AiO-version from shibby before. I'm using my router as a VPN server. With the shibby version I couldn't get more than 100mbit WAN speeds while the VPN server was running. After changing to the VPN version I got about 120mbit WAN speeds. My download rate is 180mbit, so I'd like to have more than 100mbit on my WAN. Is there any chance I could tweek it some more? It reaches 100% CPU usage when I download something at the rate of 100mbit.
I did see [url=http://www.myopenrouter.com/forum/thread/21393/WNR3500L-WAN-to-LAN-throu... thread, but I couldn't get the old firmware back on. Also I'm not sure if it can be used as a VPN server, so I want to stick with tomato. Does anyone have any suggestions?
