R7500V2 as repeater bridge

I bought 2 R7500V2  hoping to use 1 as a main router and the other as a repeater bridge. I would like to use WPA with AES as security protocol. Did anybody try this. There is some noise about need to downgrade to WEP for repeater bridge to work. If that is the case I would have to return on of the X4V2. Thanks.

    Just a heads up. WPA2 with AES works fine with latet firmware in bridge mode.

      Update: There is no repeater option in the R7500V2 yet. Hopefully Netgear will add this option in a future firmware like they did for the R7000.
